GPUTC will provide a new, inspiring and aspirational addition to the educational landscape of Peterborough and the surrounding area. Our students will develop the skills that employers demand and will gain the qualifications, knowledge and understanding that employers, higher education and FE are looking for. As a result, they will be the future students, apprentices and employees of choice.
Within a culture and ethos that reflects the best of workplaces, relationships within GPUTC will be built upon mutual respect and the overwhelming ambition for all students to achieve their potential and to develop their talents and abilities to the fullest. Employers, Anglia Ruskin University, Peterborough Regional College and community organisations will be deeply engaged in the life, teaching and learning of GPUTC. It will be a learning community which embraces all its stakeholders and encourages all members of the UTC to be outward looking.
The values of GPUTC will be based on respect, integrity, valuing diversity and being encouraged to consider and support others. High standards reflecting workplace practices will be the norm. Expectations of attendance, punctuality and conduct will reflect those in the best of workplaces.
