Uniform

YEAR 10 UNIFORM:

The Greater Peterborough UTC uniform has been chosen to look smart and cost effective as most items can be obtained from a wide variety of retailers. The specialist items – Jumpers for KS4 students - can be obtained from us directly.

Students are expected to wear appropriate kit for Sports and Leisure activities.

Essential Personal Protective Equipment will also need to be purchased, in line with the subjects that your child has chosen to study. These will be communicated directly to you ahead of the start of the school year.

In this first year the UTC will provide one GPUTC jumper at the discounted price of £5 to all students, parents are welcome to purchase spare jumpers at the cost price of £16.

These may need to be removed or covered for some practical activities. Ear stretchers are not permitted. Hair should be moderate, conventional and tidy.   Extreme coloured hair dyes and tints are not in line with the ethos of the school and are not permitted. Any hair cut which is lower than a number 2 cut is again not permitted. Please note that students who are not dressed appropriately may be asked to leave the school site.
