Students & Parents
GPUTC represents a significant investment in the Peterborough region’s educational facilities and technical skills-base. The site for the Greater Peterborough UTC is on the campus of Peterborough Regional College, adjacent to the University Centre Peterborough (UCP), and within ½ mile of Peterborough City Centre.
Our school is itself an example of a sustainable building. The £12 million building boasts a rainwater harvesting system and photovoltaic panels. Inside, our state-of-the-art facilities enable the ‘learning by doing’ approach central to our method of teaching. These facilities have been carefully developed in close collaboration with our employer sponsors. The specialist equipment in GPUTC workshops enable students to mirror industry practice, as well as enhancing their own learning. Complete with two separate engineering and two built environment workshops, individual, specially tailored science labs, computer design rooms, a top floor restaurant with a roof terrace, student study zones and the building also boasts a double-height event/display space.
Ofsted’s Parent View website gives parents and carers a chance to share their views about their child’s school. Please click here to give your feedback about your child’s learning at Greater Peterborough UTC.
